Kaziranga National Park visit
The Area was declared in 1905 as the Kaziranga Proposed Reserve Forest, whose main goal was to preserve the one-horned rhinos in the region. Manas National Park

Shanti Stupa

Gurudwara Pathar Sahib

Even today, one can see the imprints of Guru Nanak’s body and the footprint of the demon on the boulder. Located at an altitude of 12000 ft., Gurudwara Pathar Sahib is situated a short drive away from Leh, on the Leh-Kargil road, near the Magnetic Hill. Hemis Monastery
The Hemis Monastery is an 11th century Tibetan Monastery which is located on a mountain alongside the banks of Indus River. One of the largest and most famous Buddhist monasteries in Ladakh, it is known for a collection of Buddhist relics and several ancient items like paintings, weapons, etc. in its museum. The most striking feature of the monastery is the tall statue of Buddha looking out at the valley. The interiors of the monastery are decorated with traditional Buddhist paintings, also known as Thangkas. Thiksey Monastery
Around 19 kilometers from Leh, Thiksey Monastery (also known as Mini Patola) is a beautiful red, ochre and white colored establishment on the top of a hill. Located at an altitude of 11,840 feet and counted amongst the largest monasteries in Ladakh, the 12- storey building houses Buddhist art such as paintings, swords, thangkas, statues, etc. A magnificent piece of architecture, the monastery features a huge pillar engraved with the Buddha's teachings and numerous small shrines, stupas, prayer halls and monk residences. The iconic 49 feet tall statue of Maitreya Buddha is the star highlight of the monastery. The monastery also offers a spectacular panoramic view of the Indus valley.
